Healing isn’t one-dimensional—there are many ways in. After years of navigating anxiety and fear of speaking through yoga and breathwork, I recently stepped into something new: a voice workshop at Kripalu.
I didn’t go to become a singer. I went to explore expression, confidence, and the power of sound. It was deeply vulnerable, but also freeing. Letting go of expectation, I found ease—and unexpectedly, grief surfaced. I hadn’t realized how much emotion I was still holding.
This experience reinforced what I believe in my work: healing happens in layers. Whether through movement, creativity, breath, or sound, we all have unique ways of finding our way back to ourselves.
